Finally, ripe tomatoes!

Well, I finally have some red tomatoes. They don't tell you in the garden books that it can take two months before your little green fruits turn red. What torture! It was definitely worth the wait though. Saturday, I picked over 5 pounds of sweet, juicy, red, cherry tomatoes. Mmm Mmm Mmm. I have ripe roma tomatoes as well. Hopefully, I can make some salsa with the romas. I don't think my marglobe tomatoes will be ripe before frost, but someone said I can put them in a box with newspapers and they will ripen inside. That's it for now. I just wanted to give everyone a quick garden update:)

First Day of Kindergarten

Josh started school this past Wednesday. Can't believe he's five already!

So far he's learned the letter "I". Now if he can just learn to color within the lines!

A self-imposed naptime. It's tough being a kindergartener!

He had his first field trip already on Friday. We went to the Spokane fair with the Academy kids. Here's Josh in the tractor-pull event.

...Next week: the letter "U" and fundraisers with the Academy kids!
